Wildberries increased turnover in the 1st half of 2021 by 70%

According to the results of the first half of 2021, the sales turnover of the online retailer Wildberries increased by 70% year-on-year, and amounted to 303 billion rubles. The growth in sales of goods in pieces amounted to 82%, - noted in a press release of the company.

The number of Wildberries' fulfilled orders in January - June 2021 increased by 139% to 300,2 million, which is almost comparable to the result of the entire 2020 (323,8 million orders). The average number of orders per day increased from 1,5 million in early 2021 to 2 million by June 2021. In July 2021, the number of orders increased by 166% yoy.

The highest sales volumes in the 1st half of 2021 were noted in such categories as clothing, footwear and accessories (135,8 billion rubles, + 39% year-on-year), household goods and goods (41,6 billion rubles, +125 %), baby products (41,5 billion rubles, + 46%).

The number of sellers on Wildberries in 6 months increased by 142 to 700, which is 234 times more than in June 000. More than 5,5% are representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

Wildberries continues to expand the scope of their work so that Russian entrepreneurs can increase their export sales. In 2021, the company entered countries such as the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Moldova. At the moment, the geography of Wildberries' work covers 14 countries of the world.

The number of Wildberries issue points (own and partner) in the first 6 months of 2021 increased by 25 thousand to 118 000. As of July 2021, their number reached 120 000.

The number of registered users of the online platform since the beginning of the year has grown by 6 million to 46 million.
