The Russian online retailer is strengthening its logistics business and opening new sorting centers. New Wildberries facilities have been launched in Russia in Surgut, Abakan, Murmansk, Chita and the Krasnodar Territory. In foreign countries, sorting centers have appeared in Gomel, Belarus, and Khorgos, Almaty region, in Kazakhstan.
Wildberries sorting centers process orders incoming to the region and send them to order pickup points.
The launch of new facilities will speed up the delivery of orders to customers and create new jobs. In addition, in the future, these sorting centers will start accepting deliveries from local entrepreneurs, which will allow them to optimize their own logistics costs and increase their sales in the e-commerce segment.
