Wildberries notes an increase in the proportion of orders from mobile devices

In the first half of 2019, about 70% of orders in the Wildberries online store were made from mobile devices. Last year, this indicator amounted to 50%, the press service of the online platform reports.

“More and more customers are making purchases from their phones and tablets in transport, in queues, in summer cottages or while walking - for this we have developed a convenient mobile application. The share of orders from mobile devices in the 1 half-year of 2019 amounted to 70%, while a year ago this indicator was at the level of 50%. The most popular products in the first six months of the year at Wildberries were robotic vacuum cleaners, smartphones, mascaras, designers and diapers. In the spring, we noticed a significant increase in sales of fitness bracelets, photoepilators and sunglasses. At the same time, white sneakers became the most demanded product in the “shoes” category, which, however, quickly gave way to rubber boots due to a sharp cooling, ”the company said.

Wildberries - The largest online retailer in Russia. According to the company, the turnover of Wildberries in 2018 amounted to 118,7 billion rubles. The company employs more than 22 000 employees. The geography of Wildberries presence covers five countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. More than 400 thousand orders are issued daily in the company's online store.
