In the last weeks of May, Wildbrerries noted an increase in sales of clothing and footwear for the office and attributed it to the fact that the Russians began to prepare for their return to business. Analysts of the online platform compare the sales figures of various categories of clothes and shoes from May 18 to May 27, 2020 with the figures for the same period in 2019.
So, according to the online retailer, in the reporting period, sales of blouses increased by 88%, skirts - by 85%, shirts - by 83%, jackets - by 69%, jackets - by 64%, suits - by 50%, trousers - by 32%, dresses - 96%, and shoes - 54%.
Interest in business accessories has grown. Belt sales on Wildberries increased by 65%, bag folders - by 61%, portfolios - by 60%, ties - by 26%.
In total, in May, Russian residents purchased about 1,6 million pairs of sneakers and sneakers on Wildberries, 850 thousand pairs of trousers, 500 thousand pairs of jeans, about 420 thousand suits, more than 260 thousand pairs of shoes, almost 200 thousand skirts and more 170 thousand shirts.
