After the decision to introduce new restrictive measures in connection with the increase in the incidence of Covid-19 in Russia, representatives of the business turned to Wildberries with a request to postpone the sale scheduled for Bachelor's Day (11.11) to the day of closing retail stores in the country to October 28 to compensate for the losses ... The online retailer postponed the sale and increased its subsidies to help Russian businesses.
As stated in the Wildberries press release, the size of the online retailer's investments in the large Bachelor's Day and Black Friday sales will increase from 8 to 10 billion rubles (subsidized discounts, advertising on the website and in the app). will start on 28 October.
“We have made it as easy as possible for entrepreneurs to access Wildberries - to become our seller, 5-10 minutes are enough to register on the portal. Thanks to this, a business that still operates mainly only through offline channels - although it is already difficult to imagine - will be able to quickly switch to online channels and receive the necessary support in the form of customer traffic, "the Wildberries press service explains.
As a result of last year's sales, a record number of orders were placed on the online platform - about 2,5 million per day (now, on average, 2,3 million orders per day are processed on the platform).
