Wildberries expanded 2,5 times the logistics center in Kazakhstan

Wildberries expanded the area of ​​the logistics center in Nur-Sultan by 2,5 times to 10 sq. m. This allowed local entrepreneurs to increase the range of their products in the warehouse, and in the future - and sales on the marketplace.   

Business representatives of Kazakhstan continue to increase their sales through the online platform. In January-May 2022, the turnover of locally produced products increased by another 584% year-on-year. The highest dynamics was observed in the categories of food products (+747%), stationery (+382%), sports equipment (+233%), tableware (+134%), as well as cosmetics and perfumes (+130%). 

“Kazakhstan is one of the key regions for Wildberries: we not only sell goods here for residents of the country, but also contribute to the development of small businesses - we have opened our platform for local entrepreneurs, and now goods from Kazakhstan can be purchased in almost all regions of our presence. companies. In addition, we continue to create new jobs due to the expansion of the logistics infrastructure, ”the Wildberries press service commented.

The company's logistics center in Nur-Sultan was opened jointly with the company's local partners. Partner pickup points continue to open in the country - thus, with Wildberries, entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan can earn not only by selling their goods, but also by issuing orders to customers. 

Wildberries is the largest online retailer in Russia, operating on the market for 17 years. The geography of the company's presence covers all regions of Russia, as well as a number of foreign countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, etc. Turnover of Wildberries in 2021 grew by 93% and reached 844 billion rubles. Every day, 4 million orders are placed on Wildberries, the monthly audience of the online retailer is over 113 million users (MAU).

As of June 2022, over 760 entrepreneurs sell their goods through Wildberries. The Wildberries range includes about 000 million SKUs of goods from 28 Russian and foreign brands: clothing and footwear, accessories, beauty products, children's products, appliances and electronics, household goods, jewelry, food, books, digital goods and much more . About 300% of goods are produced in Russia.
