Wildberries launched the construction of a new logo center in the Tambov region
On July 13, 2023, a solemn ceremony of laying the first stone of a new logistics center for the Russian online retailer Wildberries took place on the territory of the industrial park "Kotovsk" in the Tambov region. The total area of the new logo center will be 100 thousand square meters. m., investments in the project will amount to 6,8 billion rubles.
Thanks to the opening of the logo center for residents of the Tambov region and nearby settlements, about 5 new jobs in various professional fields will be created, and entrepreneurs in the region will be able to expand their product range on the online platform and increase their income.
As of the beginning of July 2023, 1 entrepreneurs from the Tambov region sell their products through the Wildberries online platform, a third more than a year earlier. Sales of local businesses in 582H 1 grew by 2023% yoy to RUB 157 billion. The incomes of local sellers of bijouterie (+4,028%), pet supplies (+529%), sportswear (+468%), stationery (+462%) and handicrafts (+461%) grew most significantly during this period.
