Wortmann invests €100 million in Tamaris brand promotion

The German Wortmann Group has allocated €100 million to increase consumer interest in the Tamaris brand and boost sales. The budget will primarily focus on increasing brand awareness and its relevance in retail. In 2012, Wortmann invested €100 million in Tamaris's international development.

The company's current strategic goal, summarized in an article by the German publication Shoez.biz, consists of five points:

Brand experience as a sales driver. Customer loyalty and increased traffic in traditional retail. Reaching new market segments, including through the successful promotion of the second line of men's footwear, TMRS Men by Tamaris. Expanding the brand's international presence and holding major events aimed at increasing customer traffic.

Wortmann Group CEO Jens Beining and the company's Chief Marketing Officer Kathleen Burghardt explained that their goal is to drive demand that translates into sales for retailers. "We are investing heavily in the brand to ensure that our retail partners continue to achieve above-average success with us."

German footwear brand Tamaris will present its new collection at the Euro Shoes exhibition from March 4 to 7 at the WTC Congress Center.
