Y3 Celebrates 10 Anniversary
In the new season, Y-3, a joint brand of Adidas and designer Yohji Yamamoto, will turn 10 years old. On the occasion of the anniversary, Yamamoto presented his own vision of the classic Adidas Superstar sneakers, refining them according to the standards of the world of high fashion. The model is named Y's Super Position and is made of suede and soft leather. It also has an unusual element - three stripes on the sides of the sneaker, hand-stitched with cotton threads, the ends of which hang down to the sole. Each customer can complete the design of the model in their own way: the threads can be cut or left in a careless natural state.
The model is presented in two colors: white with three red stripes and a black heel and black with a toe, a sole and a white heel and beige three stripes.
The sneakers will be featured at Y-3 brand stores in Tokyo, No. 6 in London, No. 74 in Berlin, No. 42 in Paris and several shopping centers around the world.
