Yandex.Market announced the beginning of the search for goods in foreign countries. The function is available from today.
So far, three sections will be available for the new search - "Wardrobe", "Baby Products" and "Cosmetics and Perfume". There are plans to further expand the range.
It is announced that all products from foreign stores will be allocated in a separate category. In the event that an Internet user wishes to purchase a particular product, Yandex.Market will sort the corresponding stores and show detailed information, including prices in rubles, delivery methods and a direct link to the product card in the online store.
At the moment, more than a dozen stores from Great Britain, USA, China, Israel, Italy and Germany are connected to the system. In this case, a prerequisite for the inclusion of a store in Yandex.Market is the availability of an adapted page of the Russian-speaking population.
According to Pavel Aleshin, the head of Yandex.Market, the reason for the launch of the new service was the fact that Russian online shoppers are increasingly using the services of foreign stores because of the greater choice, lower prices and higher quality.
