Yandex Market enters the resale market of luxury and premium goods
You can now buy used bags from luxury and premium brands on Yandex Market — the service shows such products in the new Resale section. TheCultt platform became the first partner of the marketplace. When buying a bag on the Market, you can save up to 50% of its original price. The service was the first among marketplaces in Russia to launch such a service and will continue to develop it - in the future it will add clothes and shoes to the range.
You can already buy bags from Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Chanel, Celine, Jacquemus, Christian Dior, Valentino, Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent and other brands on the Market. The service also sells accessories from fashion collections, rare bags that are already completely sold out in the world. The seller delivers such goods: in Moscow, a paid order can be received in 1-2 days, in other regions of the country - in 2-7 days. In the capital, a fitting service is also available to customers. In the card of each product, the service indicates its condition: perfect, with a tag, or excellent, with minimal traces of wear.
All products for resale on the Market are authenticated by TheCultt platform using the Entrupy tool, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning. Entrupy takes microphotographs of the product and compares them to images of the same item in its memory. Thus, the device evaluates the authenticity of goods with an accuracy of up to 99%.
“Buying luxury and premium goods on resale in the fashion category in Russia has been in demand for a long time, and recently the popularity of this type of shopping is only gaining momentum. We want to attract a new audience, as well as introduce Yandex Market users to a new format for buying expensive accessories and find original and niche products in an environment where their availability may temporarily decrease,” says Alina Repyeva, head of lifestyle categories at the Market.
