Unichel increased sales by 6,9% for 9 months

In January-September 2011, compared to the same period in 2010, the third footwear manufacturer in Russia - CJSC Chelyabinsk Shoe Firm Unichel - increased its gross output of marketable products in current prices including VAT by 8,6% - from 1,26 RUB bln up to 1,37 billion rubles.

As reported to the agency "Ural-press-inform" in CJSC "Unichel", sales increased by 6,89% - from 1,233 billion rubles. to 1,318 billion rubles, which is 4,3% less than the plan. The production of footwear of all types in physical terms increased by 12,78% - from 1,845 million pairs to 2,081 million pairs, which is 4,5% more than the plan.

The size of the workforce of the shoe holding has stabilized at the level of three thousand people. The number of own stores and branded shoe sales departments in large cities of Russia increased by 11,68% - from 291 to 325. By 2012, in connection with the launch of the second procurement stream at the Chelyabinsk Shoe Factory, the number of its workforce will increase by 20 people.

CJSC Unichel combines the Chelyabinsk shoe company Unichel, CJSC Zlatoust shoe factory Zlato, OJSC Orenburg shoe factory Ural and LLC Trading house Obuv.
