Unichel, a Russian footwear manufacturer, appealed to Viktor Yevtukhov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, to clear counterfeit goods on the Russian footwear market.
In an official letter from the company from 5 on May 2017, signed by the Director General of Unichel Shoe Company Vladimir Denisenko, the facts of the presence in the shopping centers of different cities of shoes under the well-known shoe brands Adidas, Reebok, Nike, which is sold at low prices, are given. According to the management of the Unichel company, this indicates that such products are imported into Russia illegally and creates unfair competition to domestic manufacturers. “Such economically unequal conditions undermine our production activities. If you don’t get rid of illegal goods, Russian production will go bankrupt, ”the letter says.
The company gave a list of stores and asked them to check the legality of the activities of entrepreneurs engaged in retail trade in this retail, to check the supply chain of shoes, to exclude the possibility of selling unhealthy and illegal goods.
Initiative Unichel supported by the president Zenden Group Andrey Pavlov. “This issue needs to be addressed, as the current situation affects both Russian manufacturers and bona fide retailers. Yes, in the shoe market it has always been, we see the presence of counterfeit goods in other countries. But we have a blatant situation, as trade in such goods is open. And it is very difficult to compete with retailers that sell illegal goods at low prices. The change will be made possible by the introduction of online cash desks, shoe marking. Another useful measure could be the abolition of UTII and trade patents, ”says Andrei Pavlov. - Now the level of tax burden for enterprises working in white, and for those who use gray schemes is ten times different. And the tax burden of the manufacturer’s company, where the share of payroll taxes is very high, such as that of Unichel, reaches 25% of turnover! ”
