Yves Saint Laurent wins plagiarism lawsuit

Yves Saint Laurent has won a plagiarism lawsuit. Recall that about a month ago, shoe designer Christian Louboutin filed a lawsuit against the fashion house, accusing him of plagiarizing the famous red sole of shoes, when YSL released several models of pumps with red soles. Note that Christian Louboutin intended to recover moral damages from YSL in the amount of $ 1 million.

YSL's lawyers have proven in court that the red sole is not Louboutin's property. “This is a popular ornamental design technique that was widely used as far back as the XNUMXth century,” court documents say.
