Nike continues to motivate consumers to run and launches the fourth world series of We Run 2012 races in which almost 7 million users of Nike + products and technologies will be able to compete with each other.

The first We Run race will be held on September 1 in Prague, then the races will be held in 34 cities around the world, and will end on December 15 with competitions in Rio de Janeiro and Chilean Santiago. In total, 395,5 thousand runners will be able to take part in the competitions.

During the campaign, Nike + network members will be able to share their impressions and successes, as well as set new goals. To do this, they have at their disposal an updated application for iPhone and Android Nike + Running and a number of products of the Nike + line, in particular, a sports watch with GPS from TomTom Nike + SportWatch and Nike + FuelBand and Nike + Sportband bracelets.

In addition, in a number of markets, within the framework of We Run, it will be possible to use additional electronic tools. For example, in some countries, using Google, it will be possible to observe the moment of crossing the finish line. And in a number of places before the race, participants will have the opportunity to take pictures in a photo booth, allowing you to share pictures online.

Well-known local athletes, musicians and other celebrities will take part in the Nike races, which will further entertain the runners and spectators. At the end of sporting events, the audience will enjoy concerts dedicated to the We Run racing series, reports popsop.ru.

“In response to the needs of young runners, we are making races more fun, digital, cultural and social. Running remains the focus, but around it we create a unique experience that inspires and engages runners, ”said Arturo Nunez, Nike's Emerging Markets Marketing Director.
