The pilot experiment on marking shoes has ended

From the 1 of June 2018 of the year to the 30 of June of the 2019 of the year, a pilot project on marking and tracing shoes was held in Russia. According to the operator of the mandatory marking system of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRTC), at the stage of the experiment more than 23 thousand companies became its participants, more than 75 million digital codes were issued for marking and tracing shoes.

Major Russian retailers Kari, Sportmaster, Detsky Mir, Zenden and Adidas became leaders in the number of codes ordered.

On July 1, compulsory labeling of shoes begins, the transition to which will be carried out in stages: registration in the Honest SIGN system, receiving equipment necessary for working with codes, work with the remains of goods, mandatory release of products with Data Matrix and the subsequent ban on production, import, trade and turnover of unlabelled products.

The ban on the production, import, retail trade and turnover of unlabelled products comes into force on February 1 2020 of the year.
