Italian luxury clothing, footwear and perfume brand Zegna (Ermenegildo Zegna) has released an updated version of the Triple Stitch sneaker in collaboration with conceptual designer Mr Bailey.
ZEGNA Creative Director Alessandro Sartori and Mr Bailey set out to create a new look for Triple Stitch by studying the Japanese Yakisugi tree preservation technique and applying it to create an original soft suede upper.
ZEGNA x Mr Bailey Triple StitchThe result is a suede upper with a texture reminiscent of reptile leather and complemented by a rounded outsole. The updated Triple Stitch model is lined with a breathable and supportive mesh layer. Both layers are held together with a long button closure that is inserted into the toe of the sneaker, giving the shoe progressive practicality.
