The showroom will take place from 8 to 10 June 2015 at the same place, in the City Lounge hall of the Crowne Plaza Moscow hotel. The showroom of Brazilian shoes at Crowne Plaza will be held as part of the BRAZILIAN FOOTWEAR program. BRAZILIAN FOOTWEAR is an export development program for Brazilian products. The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Brazilian Footwear Industry Association (Abicalçados) and the Brazilian Overseas Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). The upcoming event is a strategic opportunity for Brazilian footwear manufacturers to gain a foothold in the Russian market and expand existing relationships with Russian customers. Before organizing the event, a thorough study of the Russian market was carried out. Today, Brazilian footwear exports to Russia account for 4,5% of the total footwear exports. That said, there is significant potential for growth, as Russia imports billions of US dollars worth of footwear, with Brazilian footwear accounting for US $ 18,38 million today. Events such as the showroom at the Crowne Plaza Moscow are designed to help expand the Brazilian footwear industry in Russia. At the same time, it is not so much an increase in the volume of exports that is of great importance, but the correct and long-term positioning of Brazilian footwear on the Russian market. Thanks to the targeted actions of the matchmaking agency, which pre-establishes contacts with interested Russian importers and buyers, this format turns out to be much more productive for Brazilian footwear manufacturers than traditional industrial exhibitions. As part of the upcoming showroom, which will be held in Moscow from 8 to 10 June 2015, the full production will be presented. A variety of products will be presented to the Russian public: elegant sandals and exquisite shoes. Models will also be shown in Moscow. This year the following brands of Brazilian footwear will be presented at the Moscow showroom: Beira Rio, It Sandal, Kildare, Lilly's Closet and Vizzano.
