Both brands have more than impressive biographies. The Peter Kaiser company was founded in 1838, and the Cölsch family, owners of the Caprice brand, have also been involved in shoe manufacturing for over 120 years.
The basis for the future of these two brands is created by such values as pride in tradition, a combination of shoemaking art and high technology, and constant improvement of the functionality and comfort of shoes.
The history of the Peter Kaiser brand once again proves to us that people who are truly passionate about their work are capable of great achievements. It began in 1838, and it was just another shoe workshop in the shoe capital, but already in 1845, shoes from Peter Kaiser became known outside the state, exported to Switzerland and through Hamburg, Rotterdam, Le Havre and Marseille to New York, St. -Louis, Valparaiso, Adelaide.
Use of advanced equipment and technologies, active advertising campaigns to promote the brand; medals received at industrial fairs; The constant expansion of the range did not go unnoticed. And in 1977, Peter Kaiser joined the group of leading German shoe exporters, and in 1990, Peter Kaiser was recognized as the No. 1 retail partner.
Over the years, the Peter Kaiser brand has produced the widest range of shoes: slip-on shoes, eyelet and lace-up shoes, pumps and sneakers, casual shoes for young and old, exquisite chevro leather goods with French leather heels and American block heels, dance shoes, boots with cuffs, boots with tops, Russian boots, a line of orthopedic shoes.
And in the new history, the individuality of Peter Kaiser will be preserved, and the core competencies of Caprice will be used to expand the collections and offer customers a wider range of products from the spring/summer 2025 season.
