Alphabet begins expansion into the Central region of Russia

This year, the Alfavit retail chain of footwear stores operating in the Moscow Region will double sales of footwear under its own brand and enter the market of the Central region of Russia. This was reported to the Retailer.Ru portal by the head of the retailer's development department, Ekaterina Trishankova. In 2011, the retail network will replenish 12-15 new retail outlets, which will be located not only in Moscow and the Moscow region, but also in other cities of the Central region of Russia. The retail chain "Alphabet" includes 36 stores, 10 of which were opened in 2010. Most of the chain's stores operate in the street retail format or as a pavilion in small shopping centers. The area of ​​one store of the trading network is 200-600 square meters.
