American schoolgirls banned from wearing ugg boots

Pupils of one of the schools in a suburb of Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) are forbidden to wear fashionable boots with fur trim at the school since January 30. According to the rules in force in a high school in the town of Pottstown, since January 30, students are required to wear removable shoes, and leave their mobile phones in the locker room for the duration of their studies, local media reported.

The head of the municipal department of public relations, John Armato, said that after two warnings, the "cell phones" from the violators would be confiscated.

“I understand that there are some students who carry their phones in their shoes, but why should such measures be extended to another 600 students?” Complains the mother of one of the schoolgirls, Adriana Beyer. “Nevertheless, I told my daughter that this rule has been introduced for everyone, and we will follow it,” ITAR-TASS reports.
