The share of mobile sales in online stores "Shoes of Russia" rose to 25%

The growth of mobile sales of Shoe of Russia is the result of improving online platforms. In May, an updated mobile version of the website of the online store Westfalika.ru, the main online platform of GC Obuv Rossii, was launched. Only in the first month of the version’s work, the number of orders received from mobile devices increased by 2%. Earlier updates were made for another online store of the company - Rossita.com.

According to the research company Data Insight, one of the key trends that affects the development of the e-commerce market is the growth of the mobile audience. According to the results of the 2016 year, in the entire 16 market,% of sales were carried out through mobile devices, and for the largest players this share was more than 30%. At the same time, purchases are mainly made through mobile versions of sites, and not through mobile applications.

“In the past few years, there has been a growth in the mobile audience of our sites, and this trend has continued this year: in the 1 quarter of 2017, the mobile traffic of the Westfalika.ru online store increased by another 7% and amounted to 43%. - comments Sofia Makarevich, Head of Internet Sales, GC Obuv Rossii. - Given this trend, we launched updated mobile versions of Westfalika.ru and Rossita.com. New versions of sites allow customers to make purchases comfortably and quickly. ”    

Russian Shoes entered the e-commerce market in March 2014. Now the company operates four online stores - Westfalika.ru, Emilia-Estra.ru, Westfalika-Home.ru and Rossita.com. Every year, the company increases Internet sales: in 2016, revenue from online trading increased 1,5 times, in 1 in the quarter of 2017 of the year - by 37%. Over the past two years, the range of Shoe of Russia online sites has expanded significantly - now it includes shoes, clothes, various accessories and related products. So, on the website of the online store Westfalika.ru more than 5000 SKUs are presented.
