Econika is testing new technologies for planning retail work schedules

Since December last year, seven Econika stores have been using a new system developed by Verme, which allows predicting retail traffic and planning for sellers to load. Currently, more than 40 retailer stores are already operating in the system.

The system takes into account the sales data for the store as a whole and each employee separately, the format and location of the store, the busy days of each individual employee, and issues a unique staff work schedule for a particular store.

The system is able to identify sellers who work better in conjunction with each other. So, two consultants who are in a friendly or competitive relationship work together more efficiently than on different shifts; allows you to predict peak sales and lull, exposing the necessary number of sellers for such periods.

Also, the use of technology helps maintain a discontinued working day when an employee comes to peak sales in the morning and evening. All this allows the retailer to save on the payroll fund, and employees to work in a comfortable mode, without overloads and stagnations.

In total, the Econika network has about 140 company stores throughout Russia, in Belarus and in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
