Classics, grace and decadence in the new Santoni by Marco Zanini collection

Designers Marco Zanini and Giuseppe Santoni are no longer the first joint collection, which traditionally adheres to the concept - timeless style.

The Santoni by Marco Zanini fall-winter 2018 / 19 clothing collection presents the best natural fabrics: double-layer cashmere, taffeta (100% polyester), merino and alpaca wool, silk and linen. The combination of classic shades of dark blue, ocher, tobacco and khaki is expressively emphasized by bright notes of yellow, mustard and orange.

The shoe collection remains faithful to restrained elegance.

Choice for women - ultra-soft crocodile and suede shoes, decorated with a massive rectangular buckle, and high boots with an accordion low heels. The products are made of soft calfleather and crocodile-like leather. The color palette includes shades of chocolate and mustard that are relevant this season.

For men - inspired by Texas, the Italian brand introduced cowboy calfleather boots in several colors: wood and sand. Also in the men's collection are loafers and boots with lacing. The leather sole of the shoe is made according to the traditional English technology “goodyear welt”. Thanks to this, the shoes have two indisputable advantages: waterproof and wearing comfort.

The presentation of the collection took place in the old interiors of an apartment in one of Milan's mansions, hidden away from the busy central streets of the city so that the windows overlook one of the inaccessible charming inner courtyards of Milan. The black and white works of the beloved Zanini of Berlin's art photographer Ingar Kraus on the walls of the apartment conveyed the general mood of the collection, which corresponds to such epithets as classic, grace and decadence. According to Marco Zanini, this project turned out to be very "Milanese."
