Following Gucci, fashion brands Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo, a member of Michael Kors Holdings, decided not to use natural fur in the production of clothing, shoes and accessories.
According to designer Michael Kors, the rejection of the use of natural fur was made possible thanks to technological progress, which allowed the production of luxury fur from artificial materials. Faux fur will appear in the brand's new collection, which will be demonstrated in February 2018.
