The company "Mila" - shoes wholesale "received an increase in sales for the first four months of 2012. The supply of products to retail stores by the Ural distributor increased by 7%, compared with the same period last year.
This dynamics indicates that the shoe market is emerging from a state of stagnation, which means that growth will continue. So TM “Kotofey”, sales of which at the beginning of 2012 of the year showed a stable lag of 10%, now demonstrates stable plus 10%, which is an undoubted achievement. In addition, TM “Paris Commune” has good indicators - an increase in sales by 15%. However, at the same time, the total volumes are significantly inferior to Kotofey due to the lower starting base.
Positive dynamics is also associated with the appearance of new brands in the Mila assortment. Among them are children's shoes of TM Antelope in bulk, sales of which exceeded all expectations and amounted to 45 thousand pairs instead of 20 planned for the first half of 2012, as well as TM Eco-Tex (Zebra), which was launched in 2011 "Tuchkovskaya shoe factory." Since the beginning of the year, the Ural wholesaler has sold more than 10 thousand pairs of textile sneakers, half-sneakers and sneakers of this brand. “Such a high dynamics of sales inspires confidence in the market capacity sufficient to launch new brands,” said Alexander Borodin, manager of Mila - Wholesale Shoes.
