The turnover of online stores that took part in the Black Friday promotion this year has almost doubled compared to ordinary days, according to a study by Yandex. Money ”held for RBC. In the past, during Black Friday, turnover increased 1,6 times.
. The number of orders paid through Yandex.Cash from 26 to 29 November increased by 70% compared with the average October-November. Last year, during Black Friday, this figure increased by 50%, but then the action lasted two days, not four. In addition, the number of stores participating in the action increased.
Sales at clothing, footwear, and consumer goods stores grew by an average of 60%. Nevertheless, the average bill remained the same as on ordinary days - 2500 rubles.
As the last year, the most active customers were users of online stores aged 25 – 34 years. According to Yandex.Money, they made 38% of orders. 13% of orders were for users older than 45 years, 12% - for people aged 34 – 44 years, 8% - for users up to 25 years.
