Puma is putting the spotlight on speed as its superpower in a new ad campaign, introducing itself as "the world's fastest sports brand." The campaign slogan is: “See The Game Like We Do: FOREVER. FASTER.” (translated from English: “See the game the way we do: FOREVER. FASTER.”)
The campaign is reminiscent of the original idea, the brand's DNA, that was put into Puma by the sports brand's founder, Rudolf Dasler, when it was launched in 1948. He was going to create shoes that would make athletes agile, agile and fast, like a puma.
The launch of the new campaign is, according to Richard Teyssier, Puma's vice president of brand and marketing, Puma's "largest investment ever." Throughout the year and across all sporting activity categories including football, running, basketball and handball, the campaign will be broadcast across the entire media mix with a “holistic brand message” that is emotional and distinctive to connect with target consumer audiences.
The campaign will feature athletes such as Antoine Griezmann, Brianna Stewart, Christian Pulisic, Felix Strang, Jack Grealish, Javier "Chicharito" Balcazar, Carsten Warholm, Kai Havertz, LaMelo Ball, Luis Suarez, Memphis Depay, Mondo Duplantis, Neymar Jr. , Sergio Aguero, Sherika Jackson, Yaroslav Maguchikh and many others.
“Everyone dreams of having super strength and speed - this is the merit of Puma. Speed is the superpower that makes great people change the game. Like global icons Mondo Duplantis, Karsten Warholm, Neymar Jr. or Brianna Stewart, we know that speed unlocks athletic performance and victory for everyone. Through our ability to bring speed to life, Puma invites all people to overcome their own limitations, discover their personal best and become the best version of themselves, allowing them to see the game the way we do: FOREVER. FASTER,” commented Puma CEO Arne Freundt.
