"Sportmaster" will launch a branded Kappa network in Russia
The Russian retailer, which is developing a multi-brand network of sports goods “Sportmaster”, is going to launch a separate retail network of the Italian brand of sportswear and footwear Kappa, the products of which are already presented in “Sportmster” stores, writes RBC.
According to information from the retail real estate market, Sportmaster is now selecting premises for opening the first Kappa stores in Russia, which may begin operating in 2025.
The Sportmaster company confirmed to RBC plans to develop the Kappa retail network, but without details.
The Kappa brand, along with the Superga shoe brand and Jesus Jeans, is part of the BasicNet portfolio. In Russia, Kappa products are presented in Sportmaster multi-brand stores, as well as on marketplaces. The brand works with Russian football clubs. So, in the 2022/23 season, the Kappa brand uniform was worn by Akron Togliatti. The price of Kappa sneakers is about 8,5 thousand rubles.
