In a new format

This week, Obuv Rossii opened the first Westfalika store in a new format adapted for shopping centers. The store is located in the mall "June" of the city of Krasnoyarsk. The total area of the store is 120 square meters. m. From the street format, the new store is distinguished by the display of goods and assortment: 20% of the collections are more expensive fashionable shoes. The store is decorated in a boutique style, instead of economy panels - modern trading equipment using 3D-varnish. The new format for the shopping center will allow Shoe of Russia to enlarge the network by 40–50% in the regions in which the company had previously developed primarily in street retail.

The June shopping and entertainment center is part of the chain of shopping and entertainment centers, which is managed by the Regions group of companies. According to INFOLine Developers Russia TOP-100, Regions Group of Companies ranks fourth among the largest real estate owners in Russia. The group's assets include 26 operating facilities with a total area of more than 600 thousand square meters. meters and four projects under construction.

The decision to launch a new format of Westfalika stores for shopping centers is due to the fact that shopping centers in large cities are increasing in popularity and gradually pulling off the consumer flow. In the next five years, retail revenue will be redistributed between the street format and the shopping center in a 50/50 ratio. This has already happened in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and this trend is spreading across the regions.

The area of new Westfalika stores for the shopping center is 100–120 sq. m. Investments in the opening of one store amount to 7-8 million rubles, taking into account the inventory. By the end of the year Obuv Rossii will open such stores in Moscow, Tyumen and Yekaterinburg. The new format of Westfalika stores will allow Obuv Rossii to attract a younger and more solvent audience visiting shopping centers to the stores. In the future, Obuv Rossii will open such stores throughout the country. The share of the shopping center in the company's retail revenue will be increased to 50% (now 15–20%), writes ksonline.ru
