An international competition for shoe and accessory designers “Shoes-Style” will be held in Moscow
Russian State University named after. A.N. Kosygina organizes the international student competition of shoe and accessory designers “Shoes-Style”. The competition is open to students of colleges, technical schools, and higher education institutions training in the field of design, construction and technology for manufacturing footwear and accessories. Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until April 20, 2024 inclusive.
The “Shoes-Style” competition is held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation with the aim of professional promotion and encouragement of young designers, designers of shoes and accessories, whose creativity can influence the development of the domestic fashion industry. Participation is free.
Students from Moscow universities will be able to participate in the project face-to-face, and for non-resident students the ONLINE format is provided (Collections are presented in the form of videos).
The final of the competition and the Gala show will be held on April 24-25, 2024 in Moscow, at VDNKh, as part of the International Exhibition and Forum “RUSSIA”. Participants who receive high marks from the competition jury, which includes designers from Russian and foreign companies and business owners, will receive the opportunity to produce their own collections at leading enterprises, work contracts and internships, as well as valuable prizes from the event’s sponsors.
