The daughter of the famous French advertising director and art director Fabien Baron and the former fashion director of Vogue Italia Sciascia Gambaccini, Arielle Baron launches his own shoe brand, writes WWD.
Ariel Baron studied design at the Parsons School of Design. Her business partner, Eric Best, who heads the business operations of the new brand Arielle Baron, once helped launch the world-renowned trouser brand Miaou, and has also worked for Balenciaga and Lanvin.
A distinctive feature of the footwear of the new brand is the “phantom” or mirrored heel, which reflects the surface under the shoe. The brand uses this signature element in high-heeled shoes, boots, sandals and open-heel models, and Ariel Baron herself believes that this way their shoes can interact with the environment.
The new brand's models are priced between $ 595 and $ 895 and are available for sale exclusively on the Arielle Baron website starting today.
