In the second half of 2012, a shortage of shoes is expected

First of all, the shortage of goods will affect new collections of children's shoes. The previous year was not easy for the shoe market. Since the beginning of 2011, suppliers have experienced a decrease in sales, the goods were delayed in warehouses, creating a markdown and numerous stocks. Among the owners of retail stores, there is a strong idea that there is enough product, you can safely buy it at the beginning or even in the middle of the season and at a better price, and therefore you can take your time. This assumption fully confirmed the sharp decline in the activity of buyers of children's shoes in bulk during the days of presentations: the number of visitors and the number of orders decreased significantly.

Many factories have revised production plans downward according to applications received from regional distributors. So in October 2011 a number of manufacturers announced a restriction on the release of spring collections of children's boots and bike boots. The result is tangible now. In the spring of 2012, a shortage of bikes is maintained. However, the wave of shortage of goods has not yet reached retail, since the stock of children's shoes in bulk, which formed against the backdrop of the above-mentioned decline in sales, did not manage to disperse entirely.

“All indirect and direct sales indicate that shortages for certain groups of footwear should be expected soon. Those who have time to make applications for shoes for the upcoming autumn-winter season will benefit. The rest will be forced to purchase goods from free leftovers, and in the worst case, the products may simply not be enough, "commented the manager of Mila - wholesale shoes" Alexander Borodin.
