The brand of orthopedic shoes Ortmann has released a collaboration with Russian fashion designer Igor Chapurin. A collection of sandals that combine comfort and style is already presented in the ORTEKA orthopedic shoe stores.
Named Bravo, Marcel, Baden and Vegas, the new models in the ORTMANN x Chapurin collection are inspired by the popular Birkenstock sandal silhouettes. The shoes have a suede upper, natural cork soles and metal buckles. In the design of the models, an orthopedic cork insole is responsible for the comfort and health of the feet. It cushions, softening impacts when walking, provides support for the arches of the foot, has a special anatomical recess for the heel and a roller-separator for the toes.
The Bravo, Marcel, Baden and Vegas sandals come in a range of animal-patterned colorways, from traditional browns and whites to bold hot blues and deep pinks. “The fashionable interpretation of animal prints is fully consistent with modern fashion and trends of this summer,” says Igor Chapurin, designer of the collection.
The presentation of the collaboration took place on April 27 in Moscow at the flagship salon "ORTEKA" on Tverskaya, 9. The collection was presented by Igor Chapurin and star stylist Maria Tatarskaya. The ORTMANN x Chapurin collection is sold in selected stores of the ORTEKA orthopedic footwear chain.
