2014 was a turning point for many companies in terms of both tactics and development strategy. At the end of last year, new network players announced that they were suspending their expansion into the Russian market, and already present retailers began to reduce the number of stores and optimize their business models. Developers, on the other hand, are forced to invent new schemes for filling vacant premises, while an ordinary buyer, meanwhile, has generally fallen into a state of "economy" and is in no hurry to spend money on at least emotional purchases. We will discuss the reasons, summarize and share our strategic plans for 2015 at the RCSC Retail Section - the final project of the Russian Council of Shopping Centers on December 10, 2014.
Project partner - Dyer Architectural Bureau.
Moderator Elizaveta Luchitskaya, CEO Dyer.
Top-managers of the following companies are expected as speakers at the project: Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, H&M, Sportmaster, OBI, Adamas, BTR-Group, AIMProperty, Morton, Fashion House Group, JLL, RRG and others.
Elizaveta Luchitskaya, Director General of Dyer: “This year can be called force majeure for all players in the retail real estate market. Dyer, an international company with a large portfolio of Russian projects at various stages of implementation, lives this year with the entire market. Geopolitical events have confronted us with the need to adapt to completely new rules of the game. This adaptation has already entered its active phase. "We propose to discuss what the future is for international companies in Russia, on December 10 at the RCSC Retail Section.”
