The Ingush company Shadi, a manufacturer of fish leather products, announced plans to enter the European market and expand production 15 times - from 20 thousand fish leathers to 300 thousand - through the creation of a network of workshops and company stores abroad. To expand production, the head of the company, Akhmed Shadiev, asked the head of the Republic of Ingushetia to allocate him on preferential terms 3 thousands of square meters of land and non-residential premises, which will help him bring sales to 2,5 billion rubles a year. The company “Shadi” in 2006 was one of the first to invent the technology of dressing and dyeing fish leather, eliminating its inherent smell, but at the same time retaining all the beneficial properties, making it suitable for the manufacture of shoes and bags. Currently, the company produces about 40 items of fish leather products, the thickness of which does not exceed 1 millimeter. According to Shadiev, shoes, handbags, wallets and accessories made of fish leather can be successfully sold in European countries, orders come from many well-known brands.
