adidas Originals released a collaboration with American actor Jonah Hill
adidas Originals has created a new interpretation of his iconic Superstar running shoe in collaboration with American director and actor Jonah Hill.
The updated version of Superstar is presented in the style typical of the cult model: the top of the shoe is made of white genuine leather, the rubber sole is in off-white color. The silhouette is complemented by several copyright details - stitched inscriptions “JH” and “Superstar”, repeating John’s handwriting, and a lion embroidered on the back of the tongue, which is a reference to one of the artist’s tattoos. The final touch is made by wide white shoelaces decorated with black stitching.
Describing the process of creating a new model of John’s sneakers, he admits: “I began to recall those emotions that I experienced when I wore them as a teenager, and tried to bring to reality the version of the silhouette that I imagined when I first tried them on.”
The model will be available from July 11 in the adidas online store and in the flagship store adidas Originals on Kuznetsky Most.
