The German shoe manufacturer accuses the Danish company of copying the design of its models. This was reported by the Danish Internet portal finans.dk, referring to the lawsuit filed by Adidas in one of the courts of the US state of Oregon.
“Ecco’s actions demonstrate a deliberate, deliberate and malicious desire (for companies) to play in trust in the famous three-strip brand, which caused significant and irreparable damage to Adidas,” the document says.
The size of the lawsuit has not yet been determined, however, according to the publication, in 2008, Adidas managed to seize $ 65 million from the American chain of shoe stores Payless Shoesource, which the Oregon district court found guilty of copying Adidas models and illegal exploitation of elements of the German company’s trademark.
