Clarks Brand Introduces TMHF

In October 2013, TMHF Group and Clarks signed an exclusive 10-year contract for the distribution and development of the legendary brand in Russia and Belarus. The TMHF Group team is faced with the task of strengthening the brand’s position in the territories entrusted to it in the wholesale, franchising and retail sectors through the active promotion of the legendary brand and its technologies. In February 2014, brand managers will be presenting the Clarks FW'14-15 collection in the new TMHF Group showroom in Moscow, built to the standards of the new retail concept Clarks C7.

Clarks is a popular brand of shoes and accessories, presented today in 150 countries and numbering more than 2000 branded stores, not counting multi-brand projects. Today the annual sales turnover of the brand is 921 million pounds, or 55 million pairs of shoes per year, which naturally leads to their rank as the largest producer of street shoes. The history of the brand began in the UK in 1825, when the Clarks brothers began to produce carpets and slippers from sheep’s wool. Competent management, many years of experience and high quality products have turned a small family company into one of the largest in England. The success of the brand was provided by the legendary Desert Boots from the Clarks Originals line, released in the early 50s by the representative of the third generation of the family Nathan Clarks. With over 185 years of Clarks history, company executives can confidently say: “We know everything there is to know about shoes.” This brand has become a symbol of stylish British youth and English fashion in general. Today, it is associated with Britain as strongly as The Beatles and the red telephone box. In 2010, the Jamaican singer Vibz Cartel released a song dedicated to a fashion event called Clarks, where he sang that even Queen Elizabeth II wears these shoes. How realistic this statement is is unknown, but enough to afford to buy a legendary pair of shoes from Clarks.
