Christian Louboutin Launches Nail Polish Line
Christian Louboutin decided to create his own collection of nail polishes placed in bottles with high, pointed caps. After all, once, having seen the nail polish at the show, he covered them with the sole of the shoes of the model, after which another story of the brand began.
A special place in the collection is given to the red shade of Rouge Louboutin, which will be the first to appear in Christian Louboutin and Saks Fifth Avenue stores. The department store on Fifth Avenue in New York will present in its windows installations with the image of the fictional city of Labiville, whose architectural forms echo the design of the bottles. The rest of the 30 shades of varnishes will be sold in the USA from August 31.
“If I decided to release beauty products, I will do it my own way,” the designer noted.
Robin Burns-McNill, chairman of Batallure Beauty, a Christian Louboutin lacquer manufacturer, said other brand beauty products will be launched in the next two years.
As part of the promotion campaign, the famous director David Lynch created a teaser video presented on the official website of Christian Louboutin.
Varnishes, divided into three color groups - “Pop”, “Nyud” and “Noir”, will be sold at a price of 50 dollars each.
