Tajikistan increases footwear production
As in most of the post-Soviet republics, in Tajikistan, imported goods prevail in the clothing and footwear market. However, the Department of Energy and Industry now reports that its own leather goods production has grown by 41% since the beginning of 2012. The production of leather itself has more than doubled. According to official data, the total volume of leather goods produced is close to $ 2 million.
