Detsky Mir Group of Companies, Russia's largest operator in the sale of children's goods, announces the opening of Detsky Mir supermarkets in Tambov and Balashikha, Moscow Region.
In the city of Balashikha (Moscow region), the store opened its chain in the Edelweiss shopping center. The store became the third retail outlet in the city.
In Tambov, the "children's world" was opened in the shopping center "Europe-33". The store became the second retail outlet in the city.
Both new stores have a selling area of 960 sq. m
Group of companies "Detsky Mir" unites the national retail chain of stores "Detsky Mir", the chain of stores "ELC", online stores "Detsky Mir" and "ELC". As of December 31, 2016, the Detsky Mir chain of stores is represented by 480 stores in Russia and Kazakhstan, located in 171 cities of Russia and 7 cities of Kazakhstan, the ELC chain is represented by 45 stores in Russia. The total sales area of the group's stores is 596 thousand sq. M. In accordance with the audited IFRS data, in 2016 the group's revenue was RUB 79,5 billion, adjusted EBITDA was RUB 8,2 billion, and the adjusted profit for the year was RUB 3,8 billion.
