The designer created removable heels and printed them on an 3D printer

Belgian designer Catherine Herdevin, working at the Sint-Niklaas Academy of Fine Arts (SASK), has developed a new, original look for shoes. The concept is a shoe, consisting of the main part, to which a removable heel, made in a certain style, is attached. The designer has created a collection of removable heels illustrating 7 mortal sins and decorated with flames, leaves, fans, etc. Removable heels allow the shoe owner to create 7 different styles of her choice. The innovation of the idea lies both in the design of the shoe and in the fact that removable heels are made by printing on an 3D printer. And this is not Catherine's first revolutionary idea. Her previous Nano Ft collection was nominated for the prestigious Muuse x Vogue Talents competition in the Young Vision Award for Accessorie category.
