On November 22, 2017, the Spartak shoe factory opened in the city of Oktyabrsky of the Republic of Bashkortostan Separate subdivision - a section for the procurement of upper shoes. The new site will allow the company to respond more quickly to market needs.
“In the last year, the cutting and procuring workshop has become the bottleneck of the factory. The plant’s capacities did not keep up with the growing demand, mainly due to difficulties with the selection of workers, and we were forced to refuse part of client orders, ”says Oleg Kylchik, director of the production complex of Spartak Public Fund.
A new section of Spartak in Oktyabrsky opened on the basis of the former workshop for sewing children's shoes made of artificial materials from one of the Russian factories. Upon learning that the owners decided to close the workshop, the management of Spartak promptly responded to this information, and managed to save the core staff. Additional technological equipment, a group of fitters and technologists were sent to Oktyabrsky. It took a little more than a month to reconfigure and load the site, train and adapt employees. The first batches of blanks made of genuine leather have already successfully passed entry control procedures and entered the Spartak shoe assembly shop.
It is expected that by April 2018 of the year, the monthly capacity of the procurement site will reach 4500 pairs of the Autumn-Winter collection and 5800 pairs of the Spring-Summer collection, which will allow Spartak to cope with growing demand and ensure maximum fulfillment of customer orders.
