New Fashion Industry Forum BE IN OPEN Gets 2000 Members

From June 8 to 9, the New Fashion Industry Forum BE IN OPEN was held at the Bread Factory in Moscow. The event was attended by designers, retailers, representatives of sewing factories, industry media, specialists in related professions and students of specialized educational institutions.

The BE IN OPEN forum was supported by the Moscow Department of Culture and strategic partners - Première Vision and Paris Aèroport.


At five venues, there were simultaneously speeches by eminent experts in the fashion industry, master classes of educational projects, speed-dating with buyers, factory representatives, marketers, as well as a showroom of 50 Russian brands.


The main topic of the conference was the correlation of global and local in Russian fashion production. At the event, they talked about how to attract foreign buyers and organize sales abroad; why local brands are not yet ready to cooperate with large marketplaces; which Russian designers are buying Korean multibrands and why; Is the direct use of global trends a risk factor for Russian brands; why the mass-market collaboration with local brands; how to get started with Topshop, Lamoda, Wildberries and Aizel.


Over two days, 60 speakers spoke at the Forum, whose reports and master classes were devoted to pressing issues in the field of design, production, marketing and sales.

This year's BE IN OPEN speakers include Guglielmo Olearo (Premiere Vision, Paris), Anya Aronovsky Kronberg (Vestoj, Paris), Mo Kim and Jessica Jang (Rare Market, Seoul), Alexander Bichin (Aizel), Maxim Anufrienko (TSUM) , Nikolai Krasavin (Tsvetnoy), Irina Maksimova (Lamoda), Gulshan Sharipova (Wildberries), Alena Konnova (Rusmoda), Anastasia Poletaeva (L'Officiel), Anastasia Novaya (12Storeez), Irina Godunova (RSVP), Alexandra Larina (Levi's Russia), Inga Mikaelyan and Sergey Khitrov (RBC).


The Forum held a presentation of 50 modern local brands working in the areas of high fashion, streetwear and casual. Among them are Inshade, ZDDZ, Rosbalet, Fakoshima, TZSM, Two Balls, Affex, Futureisnown, Husky Wear, Annur, Mineral Weather, Anton Lisin, Sputnik 1985, Ssanaya Tryapka and others. Some brands participating in the BE IN OPEN showroom will go to Paris from June 21 to 26 to present their collections to foreign buyers.
