Givenchy's new creative director, Matthew Williams, who joined the brand in June this year, unveiled his debut collection at Paris Fashion Week, a shoe that claims to be the new IT shoe, writes Footwearnews.com
Fashion experts say that the new Givenchy creative director Matthew Williams, who replaced the conservative Claire Waite Keller in this position, has returned to the brand the punk style that was once close to him. This is especially evident in the shoe collection. The designer presented women's sandals with toe straps dividing the foot into three toes. (It looks a little creepy, but very original).
He proposed a spectacular model of Mary-Jane women's shoes with a pierced top made of metal spikes and a heavy chain strap.
And finally, sandals - gladiators with an original geometric pattern in the interweaving of straps and a curved heel - became the third bright model of women's shoes.
The designer also included in his collection a series of rubber flat and platform shower slippers.
