Obuv Rossii GC will also work on Pick Point

Obuv Rossii GC has placed Pick Point delivery points in stores in its Westfalika chain and records 1000 processed orders per week.

Obuv Rossii GK is a unique Russian footwear manufacturer, which, in addition to traditional business areas, such as the production and sale of footwear, is trying to use all of the earning opportunities in developing the retail network. So, shoe buyers in the Shoe Russia retail stores are offered, inter alia, financial services, the retailer launches new categories of shoe related products in their stores, and now has decided not to miss the commission for Pick Point's online order service. At the same time, Obuv Rossii solves the problem of attracting additional traffic to its extensive Westfalika retail network.

The company launched a joint project with PickPoint in late October. At the moment, 160 outlets have been connected to the project (in the future their number should increase to 250) both in large cities and in cities with populations from 50 to 100 thousand residents. PickPoint online ordering points are mainly located in Westfalika brand stores, the main retail chain of Shoe of Russia.

“The dynamics of the delivery of parcels is very high, during the first week of the project we issued 88 parcels. Online shoppers now receive an average of 136 packages per day. In the last week of November, 950 parcels were already issued. Customers choose our stores as points of receipt of online orders due to their convenient location - there are stops nearby, from which it is easy to reach in any direction. Also, all the conditions have been created in the stores so that the buyer could not only receive, but also try on the goods, if necessary, ”comments Natalya Kulikova, head of the financial services group of Obuv Rossii Group of Companies. “We expect that the number of online orders received will continue to increase due to the addition of new stores and partners to the project, as well as due to the growth of the Russian e-commerce market.”

Obuv Rossii continues to expand its network of e-commerce logistics partners and has also begun to partner with DPD by launching 27 pilot points for online orders.
