According to preliminary data published by the Federal Customs Service, in the first half of this year, imports of textiles and shoes increased by 51,7% and amounted to 1 691 million dollars. While total imports of goods from non-CIS countries in value terms amounted to 149 431,7 million dollars and compared to the same period of the 2013 year decreased by 3,5%.
Thus, the import of footwear increased almost 2 times, textile clothing - by 60%, knitted clothing - by 43,3%, knitted fabric - by 26,9%, finished textile products - by 14,7%, chemical threads - by 13%, textile materials - by 7,7%.
