The retail chain "Unichel" has summed up the results of its work in 2012. During the year, the company opened 77 branded stores, and now the network unites 407 outlets.
New stores appeared in the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Irkutsk regions, in the Perm and Krasnoyarsk Territories, in the Republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area.
Over the year, the company strengthened its positions in Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Ryazan, Kemerovo, Tambov, Voronezh, Tyumen, Samara, Tolyatti, Omsk, Kurgan, Lipetsk, Orenburg, Ulan-Ude and Chita.
“As a rule, we enter cities with a population of 140 thousand people, gradually mastering the region,” comments Vladimir Denisenko, General Director of the shoe company “Unichel”. - This year, after a six-year break, our shoes reappeared in Novosibirsk - 5 stores have been launched there. We moved to Altai - shops were opened in Barnaul. We currently have two stores in Moscow, but we plan to develop in the metropolitan region as well. Our primary task is to cover the Russian market as much as possible. In my opinion, 600-800 more stores can be opened in the country ”.
The company does not intend to slow down the pace of development: the plans for 2013 are to open at least 50 new stores.
