LK Bennett, an English brand of premium shoes and accessories, was sold to its Chinese franchisee, Rebecca Feng. Last week, the brand considered several sales offers that it received in the past few weeks, writes Worldfootwear.com.
Ernst & Yang has confirmed that the brand's headquarters, several stores and all of its concessions have been transferred to Byland, a company owned by Rebecca Feng. According to the new owner, the brand will pave the way for growth outside the UK and will try to preserve the brand's heritage and existing distribution system.
Fifteen stores, including five located in London, were not included in the sale and will be closed. Subsidiary international companies were also not included in the transaction and will pass under the administrative management of the new owner.
Lk bennett was founded in 1990 and currently has retail presence in the UK, Europe, the USA and Asia, in Russia the brand's brand store was opened in 2017 in Moscow by the partner of the brand, the Russian company Easy Fashion Group.
